Preparing to Start School

The thought of your child starting school might be daunting - this is a big milestone for you as parents, as well them, and you may be looking for some additional guidance ahead of this change.

We work with Education Consultants to share top tips and insights into how to best support your little one in their start to school and what you can do to support them before their first day…

 

We will talk about

• Bust the myths around what teachers will/wont expect children to be able to do at the start of reception

• The development milestones and how to best support early numeracy & literacy milestones

• Understanding how best to manage emotions and behaviour during that first term

• Activity ideas and tips for the holidays

When to join us

Aimed at parents with school starters this September, but parents with little ones from 2.5+years welcome if they want a headstart.

 

Our sessions are interactive, yet relaxed, and babies are welcome to join you (please let us know if you are bringing a little one so we can ensure we set up appropriately).
