We were one of the first providers to focus on ensuring access to interactive education, support and community, from pregnancy right through the first year of parenting, and beyond...
Our Story...
began in 2020, when giving birth and becoming a parent was anything what we expected.
We started out as a community initiative organising what we could in line with the restrictions – so think Whatapp groups and lots of walks. As restrictions began to ease we worked with local professionals to run group sessions providing specialist antenatal and postnatal support.
Our sessions were incredibly popular, and in a short period we quickly gained the support of hundreds of local parents, who had all been left without their village during unprecedented times…
Baby Talk was born
Your Journey with Baby Talk
We equip parents and carers, with the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to make informed decisions during pregnancy and the early years.
Through a series of educational sessions across the antenatal and postnatal periods, you know that you can find support from recommended professionals when you need it. Join our sessions to get expert advice, ask your questions, and meet other local parents at a similar stage on their parenting journey.
Antenatal Education
Through interactive midwife led workshops, we cover a wide range of topics, including Childbirth Preparation, Newborn Care, Postpartum Recovery and Introducing a Sibling.
Postnatal Education
Unlike many Antenatal providers, our support doesn't stop once your baby is born, and we continue to provide a comprehensive series of workshops once your little one has arrived. Our sessions cover topics from Baby Sleep to Infant First Aid, and Introducing Solids to Potty Training.
Baby Development
We work with a range of providers, including Bright Horizons, to support you in supporting your little one's development. Join us for a selection of courses, and themed Party Play Events with local providers
Baby Brunch & Lunch
Join an event in your local area - join local brands for food, entertainment and a place to meet new friends.
Not just for mums!
Our community is inclusive and diverse, embracing the fact that parenting is a shared journey.
