A Beautiful Morning for Kingston Mums: Baby Talk x Fenwick with Aveda & Clarins

In July, we hosted one of our most special mum-and-baby events yet: our first Baby Talk brunch at Fuego, the stunning restaurant on the first floor of Fenwick, Kingston. We’ve loved partnering with Fenwick before, but stepping into this airy, and elegant space took things to a whole new level. It was the perfect setting for a morning of beauty, self-care and connection for local mums.

Aveda: Hair Tips for Busy Mums

The morning began with an incredible showcase from Aveda, who shared their best-selling hair products along with practical styling tips. For mums in Kingston, finding time for a blow-dry or complicated routine isn’t always realistic - and Aveda’s session was all about quick, effective hair care for busy parents. Guests loved the mix of expert advice and simple tricks that fit into the reality of maternity leave or the early parenting juggle. Individual consultations were also offered, giving everyone a chance to ask their own questions and walk away with personalised advice.

Clarins: Relaxation in the Midst of Motherhood

Next up was a chance to pause and unwind with Clarins. Their team treated our mums to luxurious hand and arm massages, using some of their gorgeous skincare favourites. For new parents — especially those navigating sleepless nights — this moment of relaxation was a real highlight. Clarins reminded us that self-care isn’t selfish; even a small treatment can leave you feeling refreshed and more like yourself again.

A Welcoming Space for Kingston Mums and Babies

Of course, our events are never just about the brands. At the heart of Baby Talk is creating a welcoming space where parents can come together, share experiences, and make new friends. The little ones had plenty to keep them entertained too, with Rose Nannies on hand to support. We love that our brunches work for such a wide age range, from teeny newborns snuggled in arms to curious toddlers.

After the sessions, everyone tucked into a delicious brunch from Fuego. Plates were cleared, conversations flowed, and more than a few new Kingston mum friendships were formed. To top it all off, Aveda and Clarins generously gifted our guests with goodie bags filled with product minis — a little reminder of the morning to take home.
