Maternal Mental Health Week - Charity Walk
Let’s get outside, it’s good for the mind! Take some steps for a good cause and join us to mark Maternal Health Awareness week. As well as being a great opportunity to support our chosen charity, this is fantastic way to meet other local parents - whilst getting active outdoors.

Walk to Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park
About the event
The first week of May marks Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week. This is a week-long campaign devoted to talking about mental illness during the perinatal period. With perinatal mental health problems affecting up to one in five women during pregnancy and up to one year after birth, we want to help support the amazing work done in our local community to support the wellbeing of parents.
We will be running a charity walk, walking from Kingston Gate, Ham Gate or Richmond Gate through Richmond Park, ending up at Pembroke Lodge for tea and cake in their Woodland Garden.
We have invited a series of experts to join you on your walk, to talk about all aspects of wellness, as well as mental health, providing advice and guidance, or just a good old chat whilst walking.
