Motor Development in Babies: 0-14 months

Service Description

Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist from Therapy4kids, Michelle Jordan, will be joining at Canbury Arms us to lead a workshop on motor development in babies. The workshop will provide you with invaluable information about baby development from 0-14 months, and there will also be time for discussion and Q&A. It is ideal for parents who may have some mild concerns, as well as parents who have no concerns at all about their baby, but just want some peace of mind that their child’s development is progressing as it should. It will also provide some guidance for strategies to encourage development at home. Topics covered include: Developmental milestones and why the sequence of development is important Common causes of delays in development “Red flags” - when to be concerned and when to seek help Simple strategies to support your baby’s development at home This is a relaxed session and babies are welcome. There will be activities set up for your baby to play with whilst at the session.
