Service Description

Join our Baby Speech and Language session at The Weyside in Guidlford! Sophie Rodd, Speech and Language Therapist with 20 years of experience, will be joining us to talk speech and language development in babies. We will help you understand how communication develops, the different skills involved, and the order they develop. We will provide with you tips and activities to help you help you and your little one on your journey. The aims of the session are to: - learn about language and communication development in the first year - learn everyday strategies to add to your day - get yourself and your child ready to learn first words This session is ideal for parents with babies who are up to 18 months old, are curious about the typical development of speech and language in babies, and are looking for some guidance when it comes to navigating the beginning of their little one’s language journey. This is a relaxed and supportive environment (babies are welcome to join).
